Berkeley Featuring Grandview and Harkness Heights

Located between I-70, 38th Avenue, Sheridan Blvd, and Federal Blvd, Berkeley is a hotspot of growth and activity. The area offers two distinct lakes, Berkeley to the West, and Rocky Mountain Park to the East. On the east side of Berkeley are two official neighborhoods, Harkness Heights and Grand View, where you can find historic homes. This area consists of larger brick bungalows, Denver squares, and Tudors.

Berkeley’s main drag, Tennyson St., is a lifestyle attraction with many locally owned restaurants, and a diverse mix of businesses, and boutique shops. Families appreciate the nearby library, churches, and aforementioned parks.
 

Chaffee Park

Located between 52nd Avenue, I-70, Federal Blvd, and Osage St, Chaffee Park is an emerging area in NW Denver. Chaffee Park is named after Jerome B. Chaffee, one of the founders of the city of Denver and a US Senator. Many of the homes built at the start of this neighborhood were Minimal Traditional-style, which resembles the Tudor Revival-style from the 1920s and 30s. The main park is Zuni Park, at 51st and Zuni St and serves as the perfect setting for community events and barbecues.
 

Jefferson Park

Perched above the city and overlooking downtown lies Jefferson Park. With its proximity to downtown, the Aquarium, the Pepsi Center, and Mile High Stadium, Jefferson Park is a neighborhood in high demand. Located between Speer Blvd, Colfax, Federal, and i-25. This area boasts a good variety of architectural styles with many historic homes, urban infill projects, and renovated apartment homes. Biking and walking paths are nearby with the Platte River trail.
 

LoHi

LoHi (short for Lower Highland), has become a hotspot known for trendy restaurants and bars for young professionals. Located between 38th Avenue, Speer Blvd, Zuni St, and i-25, is just across the highway from Downtown Denver and is connected by ‘The Highlands Bridge,’ a pedestrian overpass. Residents come from all over the city to enjoy a nice meal at Linger, some ice cream from the famous Little Man Ice Cream, or walk across the Highland Bridge to breweries and many more places downtown.
 

Potter Highlands

Potter Highlands—along with LoHi and West Highland—is part of the super-hot area collectively known as ‘The Highlands.’ Potter Highlands offers proximity to the city coupled with an established neighborhood with historic homes—many of which have been beautifully restored. Located between 38th Ave, 29th Ave, Federal Blvd, and Zuni St. Many local eateries and shops can be found on 32nd Ave between Zuni and Clay featuring several authentic Mexican restaurants that have stood the test of time.
 

Regis

Regis is anchored by Regis University on the east side, and Willis Case golf course on the west. Originally formed in the 1960’s after the construction of I-70, this neighborhood is in a prime location with its proximity to the highway. You can easily access the mountains, downtown, and the adjacent neighborhoods of Berkeley, Sunnyside, and the Highlands. The neighborhood offers lots of outdoor activities with golfing, two major parks, and biking trails. Older brick homes, and several stately historic homes with an eclectic mix of students, families, and singles make this a diverse neighborhood with lots of character and charm.
 

Sloan's Lake

Sloan's Lake, also known as Sloan Lake and simply ‘Sloan’s’ by the locals is a classic Denver park wrapped around Denver’s largest lake. Located roughly between 29th Ave, 17th Ave, Sheridan Blvd, and Federal Blvd, Sloan’s is the quintessential Denver neighborhood. Each summer, the large lake is host to the annual Dragon Boat Festival which brings thousands of people together each summer. For those who like an active lifestyle, Sloan’s Lake has walking and running trails circling the lake as well as playgrounds, boat docks and tennis courts.

With Sloan’s Lake being the second largest park in Denver, people come from all parts of the city to enjoy this beautiful oasis. Sloan’s possesses many architecturally stunning 19th century Bungalows and Tudors and is adjacent to West Colfax attractions, Highlands Square, and Edgewate
 

Sunnyside

Bounded by I-70, 38th Ave, Federal, and Jason St, Sunnyside is a hotspot of housing and lifestyle. Conveniently located to just about everything in the North Side and downtown, Sunnyside is a highly coveted neighborhood. The neighborhood is a great blend of long-time North Denver residents, and newer residents to the neighborhood and the housing reflects that with many historic homes, juxtaposed with lots of urban infill projects.
 

West Highlands

One of the most popular neighborhoods in the City of Denver, West Highlands is anchored by the super-popular Highlands Square at the intersection of 32nd and Lowell. Located between 38th Ave, 29th Ave, Sheridan Blvd, and Federal Blvd, West Highlands is a very desirable neighborhood. 

With an eclectic blend of historic homes, ranches, and urban infill projects, the neighborhood is as diverse as the residents. Adjacent to Sloan’s Lake, Tennyson St in Berkeley, LoHi, and close proximity to downtown, the foothills, and interstate highways, West Highlands may be the ideal urban location.
